Silent

I have a love of trees and enjoy trying to capture a something a little different and special in each piece that I paint. This painting 'Silent' was done over a few day last week. Sometimes I just have a need to sit and paint, even though the world around me would rather I didn't. I'm glad I finished it because it sold today to a wonderful lady that told me that people that love trees were thought to be very strong. I loved her explanation of how this painting made her feel. I feel like 'Silent' went to a good home and will be treasure like I treasured the time I had with it.
